Mrs. Nellie Rosene Lewis, 80, of Marion, KY passed from this life on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Crittenden County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marion, KY.

Mrs. Lewis was born October 30, 1940 to the late Joe and Maggie (Shirel) Bumpus in Morganfield, KY.  She devoted her life to being a homemaker, after working as a seamstress in Sturgis for many years, and attended Union Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Justin Lewis (Tammy) of Marion, KY; two sisters, JoAnn Henshaw (Bill Tom) and Sue Norris (Sammy Ray) both of Union County, KY; and one grandson, Seth Lewis of Marion, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe “Drop” Lewis; brother, Billy Gene Bumpus; and her parents.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with Bro. Matthew Fowler to officiate.  Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Crittenden County.   

Friends may visit from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem.
