Mrs. Alpha "Mickey" Christine Wiggins

Mrs. Alpha “Mickey” C. Wiggins, 89, of Burna, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services.

Mickey was a homemaker that enjoyed gardening, baking, reading and crocheting. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church.

She is survived by five daughters; Vickey Roberts (Dave) of Knoxville TN.; Sharon Blaszkiewicz of LaPorte, IN; Teresa Wood (Bob) of Salem; Ann Travis (Tony) of Burna; Crystal Poindexter (Kent) of Burna; two sons, R.C. Wiggins of Hobart, IN. and Corbett Wiggins (Sharon) of Westville, IN; sister, Shirley Hardin of Salem; 18 grandchildren;28 Great Grandchildren and one on the way; and one Great Great Grandchild.

Mickey was preceded in death by her husband Corbett C. Wiggins; sister, Dorothy Brown; parents, Guthrie and Hazel (Hodge) Yates; niece, Charlene Woodruff and nephew, Billy Hardin.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, with Bro. Jim Wring officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family Tuesday, from 11:00 until the funeral hour, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
