Obituary
Mr. Michael Smith O’Dell, 56, of Marion, KY, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at his home.
Mr. O’Dell was the founder and owner of Harvest Lumber and Reclaimed Barn Creations. He loved to hunt and fish, and was a member of Tolu United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gayann (Easley) O’Dell; two children, Matthew O’Dell of Nashville, TN and Madison O’Dell of Marion, KY; two sisters, Kelli (Ted) Spitze of Poplar Bluff, MO, and Terri (Gary) Wright of Doniphan, MO; one brother, Steve O’Dell of Paducah, KY; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and his furry companions, Shaedynn and Mackay.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Judy (Smith) O’Dell.
Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 1 PM, at White’s Chapel Cemetery, with Bro. Steve Tinsley officiating. Burial will immediately follow the services.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem.
