Michael Joseph Birk

Mr. Michael Joseph Birk, 77, of Hampton passed from this life Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Baptist Health Paducah.
Michael was a member of Hampton Methodist Church and was the pastor in years past. Michael also attended Miracle Word Church. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam war, serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by; his wife of 51 years, Fleshia Birk; daughter, Alicia Ann (Anthony) Jewell of Burna; sons, Vincent Keith (Emily) Birk of Louisville; Paul Michael (Michelle) Birk of Hampton; sister, Cindy Lee of Naples, FL.; grandchildren, Britney; Collin; Austin; Brady; Blake; Faith; Bailey and Lilly; great grandchildren; Meagan and Carter. 
Michael was preceded in death by; parents, John Birk and Gloria Rigazzi; brother, James Birk. 
Funeral services will be Sunday October 13, 2024 at 2pm in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, with Rev. Gregory Waldrop officiating.
Burial will follow in Hampton Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family Saturday, October 12, 2024 after 5pm in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors.
