Marilyn Ann Threlkeld

Marilyn Thompson Threlkeld, 84, of Madisonville, KY passed away on December 15, 2023 at Madisonville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Madisonville, KY. She was born in Livingston County on September 9, 1939 to the late Enos and Hallie Thompson. She taught elementary school in Livingston County for 30 years. She was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband David Threlkeld and a brother, David Thompson.

 She is survived by her sons, David Threlkeld (Valerie) of Evansville, IN and Richard Threlkeld (Sherry) of Beacon, NY, her granddaughters, Lauren Threlkeld Bush (John- Morgan) of New York, NY and Morgan Threlkeld Wilson (Michael) of Boca Raton, FL, a sister, Sue Vanover of Owensboro, KY and a brother Gary Thompson (Faye) of Paducah, KY, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 2pm in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Carrsville Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Thursday from 12pm util the funeral hour in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
