Mrs. Joan Driver Powell, 71, of Salem, KY passed from this life on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN. 

Mrs. Powell was born May 5, 1950 in Crittenden County, KY to the late Bill and Geneva Nora Belt Bolen.  She had worked for 25 years worked as an LPN at Livingston Hospital and was a past secretary of the Carrsville City Council.  She was a member of the Eastern Star and a Kentucky Colonel.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Chris) Rose of Burna, KY; step-son Thomas Powell of Murphysboro, TN; grandson, John Rose; and nephews, Bryan (Keely) Hall, Chad (Billie) Hall, and Alan (Alison) Hall.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, R.D. Driver and Emmett Powell; sister, Yvonne Hall; and her parents.

All services will be private, but will be webcast at- https://www.hdezwebcast.com/show/joan-powell-funeral-service  beginning Monday at 1:45 PM.

Services are in the care of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
