Mr. Jerry Wayne Bebout, 71, of Lola, KY passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services.
Jerry was a 1971 graduate of Livingston Central High School in Burna; and a graduate of Murray State University, obtaining a master degree in education.  He returned to Livingston Central High School and worked in special education as a school psychologist for over 28 years.
After retiring from the Livingston County School Systems, Jerry obtained his real estate license and worked briefly for Century 21 in Paducah.  Jerry then took on a more permanent position with IS Custom Building working there for over 15 years and working at Boyd Funeral Directors for many years as well.
Jerry was a devoted member of Faith Church in Salem from its inception over 40 years ago.  He also served as secretary and treasurer of over 36 years.
Jerry loved his family and his church family very much.  He especially liked helping people.  He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by two sisters, Wilma Shuecraft and Nina Shouse, both of Lola; aunt, Merna Monroe; nephews, Lloyd and Michael Shuecraft; several great nieces and nephews; and many extended special family, too numerous to mention.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, O. Givens and Evelyn Imogene (Wilson) Bebout.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 11AM at Faith Church, with Rev’s. Israel Sanders, Phillip Sanders, and Lloyd Shuecraft officiating.  Burial will follow in Lola Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 5 to 8 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
