James "Jim" Walter Byarley

Mr. James “Jim” Walter Byarley, 84, of Marion, passed from this life, Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Baptist Health Paducah.

James retired from the KY State Highway Department after 27 years. He liked to garden, the outdoors, his cows and dogs.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy Byarley; son Timmy Byarley (Denise) of Marion; brother William Byarley of Marion; sister Billie Hussier of Peoria, IL.; a wonderful granddaughter Danielle Byarley and fiancé Kyle Myatt of Marion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Ludie (Stacey) Byarley; sisters Frances Kirk and Mary Etta Enoch.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with Rev. Tim Fouts to officiate.  Burial will follow in the Deer Creek Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
