J. W. Fox

Mr. J. W. Fox, 77, of Salem passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services.

J. W. loved watching UK basketball. He was of the Presbyterian faith and was an Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a retired prep plant operator with Pyro Mining Company.

He is survived by; his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Woodward Fox; son, Jerry Dale Fox of Salem; brothers, Coleman Fox of Marion, Richard Fox of Burna; sisters, Pat Dickerson of Decatur, IL., Irene Leischner of Decatur, Il., Jean Ann Cobb of Elkhart, IN.; one granddaughter, Hannah Fisher of Salem and several nieces and nephews.

J.W. was preceded in death by; son, Jamie Fox; brother, Deon Fox and parents Wesley and Nancy Campbell Fox.

Graveside service will be Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 2PM at Salem Cemetery, with Bro. James Young officiating.

The family asks that anyone wishing to attend meet at the cemetery, as there will be no visitation.
