Mr. Harley Deonn “Speedy” Williams, 83, of Carrsville, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah.

Deonn retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years and he was a diesel mechanic for Vulcan Materials for over 18 years. He enjoyed playing cards (especially High-9), traveling and had fun wherever he went. He visited 48 states and five countries. Deonn loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Deonn is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donna Williams; two daughters, Debbie (David) Collins of West Paducah and DeAnna (Darrell) McDonald of Carrsville; one son, Darrin (Roseann) Williams of Smithland; one  brother Steve (Kathy) Williams of Louisville; one step sister; Sharon (Ricky) Thompson of Salem; seven grandchildren, Darrick Williams of Madisonville; Brandon Williams of Smithland; SueAnna Williams of Smithland; Sy Noble McDonald of Carrsville; Eli Harley McDonald of Carrsville; Dawson Collins of West Paducah; Baron Collins of West Paducah; one great granddaughter, Keyle Williams of Madisonville and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harley F. and Juanita (Armstrong) Williams; brother, Bobby Norris Williams.

Funeral Services will be at 1PM Saturday, August 26, 2023 in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with Bro. David LeNeave officiating.

Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery, with Military Honors.

Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM until the funeral hour on Saturday, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
