Evelyn Kaye (Williams) Jones

Mrs. Evelyn Kaye Jones, 82, of Smithland, Ky., passed away , Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Oakview Nursing Home in Calvert City, Ky.
Mrs. Jones found great joy in the simple pleasures of life and the people she loved. Her beloved angelpets were her pride and joy, bringing her endless happiness. She enjoyed spending time in the kitchen preparing meals for family and friends, tending to her beautiful flowers, and taking leisurely rides on her golf cart to the river in Smithland, where she found peace and contentment. These cherished pastimes reflected her warm spirit and her appreciation for life's everyday blessings.
Evelyn is survived by: daughters, Kim (Willie) Brooks of Smithland, Ky. and Starla (Richie) Neal of Smithland, Ky.; sons; Thomas Wayne (Kim) Jones of Symsonia, Ky. and Ronnie Jones of Smithland, Ky.; sisters, Shirley Essertier of Salem, Ky., Barbara (Danny) Browning of Marion, Ky. Tad (Larry) Johnson of Tolu, Ky Debbie (Eddie) Summers of Marion, Ky and Judy Faught of Marion, Ky.; grandchildren, Daniel, Jordan, Mikey, Nikki, Dakota, Jessica, Channing, Andrew, Aaron,  and Carsyn; 24 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; husband, Thomas L. Jones; parents, Truman and Ocie Durham Williams; brother Ray Williams; sister, Betty Rose Flowers, Helen Watson and Louise Turley.
Funeral services will be at 1PM Tuesday, July 14,2026 in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, with Bro. Wayne Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Paradise Cemetery in Grand Rivers, Ky.
Friends may visit with the family from 11AM until the funeral time at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
