Deon Belt

Mr. Deon Belt, 75, of Salem, KY, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Belt attended New Union (Ditney) General Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia (May) Belt; one daughter Deonna (Travis) McCord of Marion, KY; one son, David Belt of Henderson, KY; one brother, Raymond (Sharon) Belt of Marion, KY; four grandchildren, Asa McCord and London McCord both of Marion, KY, Alex Belt of Joplin, MO, Baxter Belt of Edina, MO; great grandchildren, Klara-Lynn Belt and Presley-Lynn Belt both of Joplin, MO.

Deon was preceded in death by two brothers, Glendel and Leon Belt; and his parents, Corbet and Ethel Ramage Belt.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 30, 2019, 2 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, with Rev. David Davis officiating.  Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday evening between the hours of 5 and 8 PM, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem.
