David Windell Gott

Mr. David Windell Gott, 79, of Marion, KY, passed from this life on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Paducah Baptist Health.

Mr. Gott was born in West Plains, MO, on October 31, 1942, to James Sutton Gott and Sybil Karr Gott.  He retired from the Chrysler plant after 38 years of work and was a member of the United Auto Workers.  He enjoyed sitting on the porch, fishing, hunting and watching westerns.

He is survived by a son, Vince Gott (Lucy) of Marion, KY; and 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth Gott and Coleen Daughtery, both of St. Louis, MO.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Knight Gott; sister, Wanda Pliler; and two brothers, Jerry and Kenneth Gott.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM, Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.  Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 PM until the funeral hours on Sunday, April 3, 2022, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY.
