Claude Jennings Obituary
Mr. Claude R. Jennings, 91, of Burna, KY, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehabilitation Center in Salem.
Mr. Jennings, a veteran, enlisted in the U.S. Army at Ft. Bliss, TX in 1946 and served in the occupation of Japan during 1947. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela Kolb of Duvall, WA; three sisters, Rachel Atwell of SC, Dorothy Durkot of Princeton, IN, and Mildred Sue Robinson of Calvert City, KY; brother, J. O. Jennings of Salem, KY; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beatrice Jennings; and parents, Will and Gertrude Johnson Jennings.
Graveside services will be 12 PM, Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Hampton Cemetery with burial to follow. All attending are asked to meet at the cemetery. There will be no visitation.
Arrangements will be in care of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY.
