Mr. Christopher Dwayne Blurton 56 of Salem, KY. passed away Saturday December 19, at his home.
Chris had a remarkable gift for welding, a skill he honed with patience, precision, and pride. He could look at a problem and know exactly how to fix it, creating strong, lasting work that reflected both his talent and dedication. Beyond his craft, Chris found his greatest joy outdoors, especially when fishing, where he appreciated the quiet moments and the simple peace of being near the water. He also loved riding horses, embracing the freedom and connection to nature that came with every ride. In his lighter moments, he enjoyed leisurely golf cart rides, often sharing laughter, conversation, and memories with those around him. These passions defined who Chris was—a hardworking, skilled man who valued simple pleasures, meaningful time, and the joy of living life at his own steady pace.
He is survived by; his mother, Shelia Bines Luther of Medina, TN; sisters, Tiffany (Jason) Adams of Jackson, TN, Stephanie McKeel of Gipson, TN; and fiancé, Lisa Martin of Marion, KY.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Blurton.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
