Christine (Damron) Nelms

Mrs. Christine Nelms, 85, of Lola, KY, passed from this life on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.

Mrs. Nelms was born June 14, 1936 to Lonnie and Grace Damron.  

She is survived by her son, Willis M. “Buddy” (Michelle) Nelms, Jr, of Carrsville;  daughters, Cynthia Gail (Donald) Adams of Richmond KY, and Kristi (Andy) Moore of Dayton, OH; sister, Geneva Williams of Marion, KY; grandchildren, Michael G. (Christina) Adams of Louisville, KY, April Mattingly of Louisville, KY, Nicky Dale (Lisa) Nelms of Salem, KY, Brittany Allison Butler of Dayton, OH and James Austin Butler of Dayton, OH; and great-grandchildren, Makayla Nelms, Lucia Adams, Gabbi Mattingly and Ben Mattingly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis “Bud” Nelms; daughter, Marsha Lynn Nelms; and brother, Gene Damron, and Harold J. Damron.

Funeral services will be Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, with Rev Israel Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Lola Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour, Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY.
