Charles Glenn Sisco

Mr. Charles Sisco, 80, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Charles was a union operating engineer from 1965 to 2002.  He was a member of Tarbolton Masonic Lodge #351 in Fairbury, IL, petitioned December 26, 1995, elected January 22, 1995, initiated March 9, 1996, passed March 9, 1996, raised as both a Mason and Shriner on March 9, 1996.

He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia (Clint) Cockerham of Christiana, TN; a son, David Sisco of Fairbury, IL; a sister, Shirley Dalton of Kevil, KY; four grandchildren, Chantel (Jake) Reeder, Michelle (Keith) Brodeur, Amanda (Logan) Rathbun and Samantha Sisco.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Annette Haskell; four brothers, William T. “Cobby” Sisco, James Sisco, Alvie Sisco, Morris Sisco; two sisters, Evalean Curnel and Dorothy Guill; and his parents, Roy Ben and Rosa Josephine (Waters) Sisco.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 12 Noon, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, with Bro. Gary Hardesty officiating.  Masonic rites will be conducted at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 10 AM until 11:30 AM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
