Catherine L (Chittenden) Curnel

Ms. Catherine L. Curnel, 74, of Joy, KY passed away October 12, 2021 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Ms. Curnel was born to George and Margaret Christine (Driver) Chittenden on June 5, 1947 in Hampton, KY.  She was a member of Goodhope Baptist Church and had worked as a beautician and caregiver.

She is survived by her sons, Brent Curnel of Salem, KY and Jeffrey Curnel of Carrsville, KY; daughter, Sue Curnel of Salem, KY; sister, Linnie Tinsley of Marion, KY; brothers, Paul Wayne Chittenden of Burna, KY, Mickey Chittenden of Smithland, KY, Terry Chittenden of Smithland, KY, and Timmy Chittenden of Paducah, KY; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Curnel; brothers, Robert, Greg and Johnny Chittenden; grandson, Damian Crain; and her parents.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.  Burial will follow in Good Hope Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem.
