Mr. Carroll Wayne Harris, 69, of Salem, KY, passed from this life on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Mr. Harris was born July 29, 1952 at his home near Lola, KY, to William Harold “Preacher” and Mary Sue Watson Harris.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator for the state of Kentucky and was a farmer.  He was raised in New Union “Ditney” General Baptist Church and attended Free Will Biker Church. 

He is survived by one son, Matthew Wayne Harris of Paducah, KY; siblings, Harold Gene Harris (Jeannie), Vonda Sue Todd (Billy), and David Wayne Harris (Tina) all of Lola, KY; special friend, Greta Riley; and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be 12 noon, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.  Burial will follow in New Union Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 5 to 8 PM, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY.
