Ms. Bonnie S. Hunter, 70, of Salem, KY, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at her home.

Ms. Hunter was born in Lola, KY, on July 18, 1951 to Alvin Lemon and Frances Guess.  She worked 20 years as a bookkeeper for Living Ministries.  Bonnie enjoyed researching genealogy and assisted in reconnecting many families.       

She is survived by her children, Karen (Thomas) Peters of Forsyth, GA, Susie (Corey) Smith of Evansville, IN, Eugene (Charlene) Smith of Evansville, IN, and LaPaula Smith of Salem, KY; grandchildren, Kortney (Shawn) Wicker, Cory (Katie) Adkins, Zachary Roberts, Mya Peters, LaVonte Smith-King, Ta’Keesha Tramill, Brittani (Gary) Robertson, Brooke Smith, and Tyler Smith-Postin; 12 great grandchildren; dedicated caregiver and friend, Trish Yates; best friend, Aunt Nora Lena Seibert; four sisters; and eight brothers.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, James and Marshall Sindeff, and Ross and Tanya Lemon.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 29, 2022, in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.   Burial will follow in Loveless Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour on Saturday, January 29, 2022.
