Betty JoAnn Kinnis

Mrs. Betty JoAnn. Kinnis, age 85, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at her home in Marion.
She was born on November 21, 1939 to Forrest and Agusta “Gustie” Harris. She was raised in a loving Christian home along with 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
On December 28, 1957, she married her love, James Kinnis and had 3 children. They instilled their love for each other and their love for the Lord in their children.
Betty is survived by; daughter, Lisa (Mike) Crider; son, Brian (Christina) Kinnis; daughter-in-law, Karen Kinnis; bonus daughters, Judy Faught and Barbara “Cotty” Browning; grandchildren, Stacy (Brian) Mitchell, Cody (Lacy) Kuhlenschmidt, Landen Crider, Brandon (Haleigh) Hunt, Sylvana Hunt, Jamie Kinnis, Chad Kinnis and Kadie Kinnis; Great-Grand Children, Rylie Mitchell, Eden Kuhlenschmidt, Truitt Kuhlenschmidt, Tuck Kuhlenschmidt, Knox Hunt, Eisley Hunt, Rhett Kinnis and Eli Kinnis; several wonderful nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by; husband, James Kinnis; son, Ronnie Kinnis; parents, Forrest and “Gustie” Harris; brothers, Glenn “Shorty” Harris, William “Preacher” Harris and Loyd “Toodie” Harris; sisters, Ophelia Damron and Mildred Croft.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 10, 2025 at 1PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, with Bro. David Davis and Bro. Kenny Odom officiating.
Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family, Sunday, March 9, 2025 from 5 to 8PM in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
