Lois Jean Hosick

Mrs. Lois Jean Hosick, 72, of Burna, KY, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital & Respiratory Care Center in Mt. Vernon, KY.

Mrs. Hosick was a local artist. Some of her paintings and wood carvings are on display at Eastern Kentucky University and at the Japan Tokyo Center. She enjoyed animals and was a member of Old Salem Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughter, Kim (Randy) Gray of Burna and Karla (Mark) Calhoun of Paducah; brother, Curtis A. (Martha) Kayse of Salem; grandsons, Kobin (Amanda) Gray, Jed Gray and Silas Gray; and great grandchildren, John, Telete and Amelia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Tommy" Hosick; and parents, Wilbur and Louise Brasher Kayse.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Monday, October 22, 2018, at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery.

Friends may call from 10 AM until the funeral hour on Monday, October 22, 2018, in the chapel of
Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY.
