Joan Garcia Obituary

Ms. Joan Garcia, 76, of Salem, KY, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 at Livingston Hospital and Healthcare Services.

Ms. Garcia enjoyed playing Bingo and loved her cats.

She is survived by one son, Russell D. Carver of Knoxville TN; one daughter, Tracy A. Carver (Scott East) of Salem, KY; two sisters, Jean Waterloo of Little Rock, AR and Arlene Salazar (Neil Luster) of Salem, KY; one brother, Vernon W. Hodge of Ocola, FL; six grandchildren, Jeffery Carver, Julie Carver, Jessica (Brian) Kellog; Tim Carver III, David Carver, and Ashley (LaVanda) Williams; and four great grandchildren, Brooke, Billy, Aiden and Jaelynn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon E. and Ruby Cruce Hodge; two sons, Steven Carver and "Tim" Carver; three sisters, Hazel H. Yates, Erma Lee Hodge and June Hodge Stirling; and five brothers, Mylo, Ray, Hayden, Gerald and Don Hodge.

Cremation is being provided at Ms. Garcia's request.

Memorial Services will be scheduled at a later date.
