Helen (Scarbrough) Casey

Mrs. Helen Scarbrough Casey, 87, of Ledbetter, KY, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Paducah.

Mrs. Casey attended Salt and Light Community Church and was a 60 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 217.  She was Miss Livingston County 1950.

She is survived by her son, David Ray Casey (Mary Jean) of Equality, IL; daughter, Lynda Lee Hiles (James) of Ledbetter, KY; brother, John Scarbrough (Lynn) of Burna, KY; grandson, Will Douglas (Jamie) of Harrisburg, IL; and great-granddaughters, Malayna and McKendra Douglas of Harrisburg, IL.    

She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Ray Casey; brother, Denny Lee Scarbrough; and parents, W. F. “Jumbo” and Lola Bond Scarbrough.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 AM, Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with Bro’s Jim Glover and Jeff Russell officiating.  Interment will follow at Dyer Hill Cemetery. 

Friends and family may visit from 5 to 7 PM, Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services in Salem, KY.
