Ella Louise (Childress) Fritts

Ella Louise Fritts, 98 years of age, formerly of Marion, KY, passed on to her heavenly home Sunday March 31st at 12:43 AM at Stonecreek Nursing and Rehab Center in Paducah, KY.

Louise was of the Baptist faith, former member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Marion, KY; Union Baptist Church, Marion, KY; and Belleview Baptist of Paducah, KY.

Louise loved to cook, especially her German Chocolate Cake and her White Coconut Cakes.  She loved to bake her cakes, for her friends at Christmas time.  She loved spending time with her daughter and son-in-law, especially at Taco Johns for Taco Tuesday.

She is survived by one daughter Donna Caye Morris and her husband Jim of Paducah, KY; and her sister-in-law Virginia Fritts of Myrtle Beach, SC.  She is also survived by two special cousins, Henrietta Ramage and Judy Alsobrook.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the American Cancer Society, or Relay for Life in Crittenden County or McCracken County.  Donation may be mailed c/o Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services, P. O. Box 26, Salem, KY  42078.

The family would like to thank the staff of Stonecreek Nursing and Rehab Center for the excellent care over the last year.  They all knew her by “Miss Ella” and her special roommate Mary who watched over her and gave her attention when the family was not there.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Perry Fritts, and her mom and dad, Milton and Nealia Childress.

Funeral services will be held at Boyd Funeral Chapel, Salem, KY on Wednesday April 3rd.  Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00, and funeral service at 2:00pm with Rev. Deann Thompson officiating.  Burial will take place at Mapleview Cemetery in Marion, KY.
